EDPI

EDPI stands for Eau de Parfum Intense, which is a concentration of perfume that falls between Eau de Parfum and Perfume Extract. It is also sometimes referred to as Eau de Parfum Absolute. EDPIs are typically more concentrated than Eau de Parfum, but less concentrated than Perfume Extract. They typically contain a higher percentage of fragrance oils compared to alcohol and other ingredients. This higher concentration allows the fragrance to last longer on the skin and emit a more powerful scent. The concentration of fragrance oils in EDPIs can range from 15% to 30%, with the average concentration being around 20%. This concentration makes them suitable for evening wear or for those who prefer a stronger fragrance.

EDPIs typically have a stronger and more complex fragrance profile than Eau de Parfum. They often contain a blend of top, middle, and base notes, with a heavier emphasis on the heart and base notes. This gives them a longer lasting and more complex scent compared to other fragrance concentrations. When applying an EDPI, it is important to use it sparingly as the fragrance is concentrated and may be overpowering if too much is applied. A small amount applied to pulse points such as the wrists, neck, and behind the ears is usually sufficient.
